FEDERATION OF BRITISH HAND TOOL MANUFACTURERS

FBHTM promotes the commercial trade and technical interests of British hand tool manufacturers.

It offers its members:-

A meeting place for discussion of matters of common interest.

Sub-sections (Associations) for special interest groups, the largest being the Construction Fixings Association www.fixingscfa.co.uk.

The preparation and review of British and international standards.

Representation of manufacturers’ interests through contact with the DTI to government.

Representation through membership of the European Tools Committee (Comité Européen de l’Outillage – CEO www.ceo-tools.com) and ORGALIME to the European Union.

Assistance with overseas exhibitions and interchange of export information.

Membership is open to UK hand tool manufacturers.
