The Federation of British Hand Tool
Manufacturers will take a contingent of British exhibitors to exhibit at the
2008 show in a "British Pavilion" area. The Federation books space, appoints a
stand build contractor, arranges and administers all on-site services and
provides staff in attendance during the build up and throughout the show.
The fair is a global business platform and communications platform for the three
sectors Tools; Home Improvement/DIY; and Security, Locks and Fittings. It is
the world's leading trade fair of its kind. In 2006 the exhibition as a whole
had almost 75,000 trade visitors from 140 countries with 3491 exhibitors from 58
countries. The Tools Halls cover hand tools, machine tools, power tools,
compressed air tools, high pressure cleaners, welding and soldering equipment,
automotive tools and equipment, workshop fittings, shop and showroom fittings,
ladders and scaffolding, storage and packaging. The Federation led British
Pavilion in the Tools Hall 10.1 covered some 700 sqm and had 29 exhibiting
companies.
